Band Design, Redesign of Chinese Car Brands

Course Description


The 10-day study camp, co-organized by DeTao Master Academy (DTMA) and Shanghai Business School, is led by Professor Klaus Hesse —DeTao Master of Identity, Design and Communication. Shanghai Business School has successfully held the study camp twice and it is their first time to cooperate with DTMA, adopting the new mode ‘Going out, Taking in’. Under the guidance of Professor Klaus Hensse, after studying brand research, brand positioning, brand rebuilding, cross-cultural brand design and cases of automotive branding at home and abroad, students will gain insight into the opportunities and challenges in the development of Chinese automotive brand and produce their own work to rebuild Chinese automotive brands.

何昆隆(Klaus Hesse)教授是德国Hesse Design设计公司联合创始人及设计总监,该公司主要业务方向是交互设计、室内设计、平面设计,公司的客户主要有奥迪、博世、施华洛世奇、汉莎航空和德国科隆机场等公司。他曾担任奥美(Ogilvy)、GGK广告公司的艺术总监(Art Director),目前是德国奥芬巴赫设计学院(HFG Offenbach)的概念设计教授及视觉传达学院院长。他在世界各地都有演讲和开展工作坊经历,包括波兰、墨西哥、瑞士,以及中国的众多城市。他多次获得国际一流设计奖项,包括美国芝加哥“Good Design”奖、欧洲设计奖(European Design Award)3次,德国 iF 产品设计奖(iF Product Design)、德国 iF 视觉传达设计奖(iF Communication Design)9次,纽约设计节奖(New York Festival)2次等。
